IMF DATA

List of Reporters

The list of reporters includes the names of participating countries/economies that have agreed to have their names disclosed as COFER reporters. Publishing a list of COFER participants is intended to increase transparency, allowing analysts, policy makers, and the public to better understand the currency composition of holdings of foreign exchange reserves across the world. COFER data provide insight into the evolution of the currency composition of these reserves and facilitate analysis of developments in international financial markets.

COFER is a confidential database and the IMF strives to ensure the confidentiality of individual data submitted by participating economies. With the publication of a list of COFER participants, the IMF has decided to no longer publish separate data for the advanced countries and emerging/developing economies groupings. Historical data are available at the Tables tab.

Total number of reporters: 149

Note: This list shows only those COFER reporters that have agreed to have their names released.
